Come Climb With Us... July 10!
StayStrongNation.org is organizing an event this summer benefiting our service men and women, raising awareness for Post-Traumatic Stress. The event is called Climb Strong, and will center around a climb to the peak of Mount Fuji, Japan on July 10th. Thus far, Stay Strong VP Gresford Lewishall and featured vocalist Charles Cook have committed to the climb. We are currently seeking additional sponsorship and support for the event as well as individuals wishing to make the actual climb with us.

We are working on forming an alliance with Evergreen Aviation and their Wounded Warrior Mentor Program. On October 17, 2008, Stay Strong Nation visited Portland, Oregon to meet with Mr. Timothy G. Wahlberg, Chairman of the Board of Evergreen Aviation.

StayStrongNation.org has formally submitted a National Proclamation Request to the White House detailing the creation of a National PTS Awareness Week beginning this year on Sunday, November 8th, including Veteran's Day on Wednesday the 11th and extending to Saturday the 14th. Coordinated events will be planned in every state to include educational summits, concerts and other celebratory functions honoring all of our troops, past and present. Guest speakers will include soldiers living with PTS and celebrities lending their talents to the cause.
